Email Campaign

Last updated by Rich Orr on April 04, 2016 11:20

The system allows you to send HTML emails to your contact database provided the contact records have an email address and the “Email Contact Preference” box has been checked.

Using the intelligent email broadcast platform, “Emails” are sent as a “Campaign” to either one or many “Contacts”.

You must have the “Contacts” permission to send marketing emails otherwise your email campaign will be considered as SPAM.

Marketing emails must contain an “Unsubscribe” link to enable the “Contact” to opt out from receiving further marketing emails from you.

If a “Contact” clicks the “Unsubscribe” link, the CRM programme automatically un-checks the “Email Preference” control box and adds the email address to an “email address suppressed list” (aka suppression list). The CRM programme will not allow you to send further marketing emails to an “Unsubscribed Contact”.

For each HTML email you have to have a “Plain Text” version for your contacts who do not have their computers set up to receive or view HTML content.

A campaign can be sent immediately  it has been created (including sending a test to yourself) or scheduled to be sent at a later time/date.

The intelligent email broadcast platform has a built in “ Reporting System” providing valuable information such as:

1. Who opened the email
2. Who clicked any links
3. Bounced email addresses
4. Unsubscribe contacts
5. Complaints

The CRM programme will also provide a “Call List” for follow up telesales activity.

All the above points will be covered in greater detail in the sections that follow.
