If you are wondering if you should get an email notification when a contact/lead is added to a group then that functionality is not yet available, but it is a feature which has been requested.

However if you have a webform which links into an automated campaign which has actions to add new contacts into a group, then the webform sign up can have notifications to you by email each time someone completes your webform!
