- Step 1 export your contacts from Highrise:
Please Note:Only Users with the correct permissions can export contacts from Highrise. If you don’t see an “Export” link, contact your Account Owner or Admin to grant export access.
First, navigate to your Contacts tab.
Click the “Export” link on the right side of your Contacts page.
Choose your file format to export your contacts.
If you chooseCSVor Excel, Highrise will prompt you to choose from two options to export your information.
Streamlined: The default option, exports only columns that contain data from your contacts.
Complete: Exports all the columns with or without data in your account.
If you export less than 100 contacts, an automatic file download will begin. If you export more than 100 contacts, Highrise will send you an email with the file once the export is complete.
The email will come from <firstname.lastname@example.org>. It should just take a few minutes dependent upon the size of your file.
- Step 2
Complete the basic set up routine for InTouch including adding an email address and name for Email approval. This will enable you to start sending Email campaigns quickly.
Create your custom fields in your InTouch account in preparation for your imports.
You have the options of both Organisation custom fields and Contact custom fields.

Now you’re ready to import your Organisations and Contacts.
To import your companies as Organisations, action a Business dataload:
and to action your Import Contacts:
There, that’s it! You are now ready to use the great functionality which InTouch has and it is right at your fingertips!
Why not start by creating your first email campaign and send it out to wow your prospects / customers.
Don’t forget that you can segment your contact database by Groups and Custom Fields and you can run Reports to filter on that powerful information!
